That is the problem Sentrias and USA Esports are working on together. USA Esports is building the sport in the United States at the national team level and across the whole ecosystem underneath it. Every layer of that runs on information somebody has to defend.

As esports becomes a more serious endeavor for nations across the world, a new set of questions is rising with it. One layer under the competition sit the ones nobody puts on a poster: where roster and travel information lives, how passports and identity documents move for an international event, who holds the bank account details that pay players and prize money, and which systems are trusted with all of it.

Under that sit college and high school programs, and everything that changes when a competitor is under 18: education records, registration and eligibility data, parent contacts, consent files, and the laws written around them.

What is true today is simple to state. Sentrias is the security and technical advisor to USA Esports, and the two organizations are working through those questions together: how the systems get built, what gets watched, and who is accountable for which part.

The deeper technical work is a longer road, and we would rather describe it once it is built than before. What we can say now is the intent, and the intent is the part that matters to anyone standing up a program: build the ecosystem and the security posture at the same time, instead of retrofitting one onto the other after the first incident.
